Hi,everyone ,when i install the HA database instance ,in the import abap step,i got an error,log is below,anyone can tell what's went wrong?

Yes , the data conversion by R3load failed .

This is because the export DVDs are not consistently downloaded.

Please download again from the SAP service marketplace.

Hi Lin,

Seems like the export dump was moved over ftp to the target server.Probably the concerned *dmp files got corrupted. Please move again all  the relevant files for all the failed packages.

Before that do cksum for /sapcd/export2/DATA_UNITS/EXPORT_8/DATA/SAPAPPL2.001

in both import and export server and publish the results.

Also upgrade to latest R3load availavle for the kernel of target system before  you try the import once again.

You do not need to set the environment variable I18N_POOL_WIDTH. Just make sure your export DVD is copied consistently and R3load is able to read it and do the necessary conversions while importing the data into the database. You update the kernel to the latest patch and go ahead with import.

I believe you are doing a new installation.

migration monitor will try to load all packages even if there are failed packages.

But once an error is encountered in a package , it will not process the rest of the tasks.

SO just go to the installation directory , check the migration monitor log and paste it here.

Maybe it's the database didn't start itself ,i start it,now it's running,but it seems failed 3,but it's still running ,weird

The SAPNTAB package is also completed successfully.Paste the log of the package which has failed for example  SAPAPPL1 , SAPAPPL2 etc.
