MIGO Excise Tab for Finished goods(RG1) at Depot Excise

Sir,

for my client we are maining depot excise invoice, they are buying the materials  as finished goods and they are selling to the customer as finished goods, so we are not manufacturer , thats why we are mainitain depot excise invoice, in j1id, i mention as materials as RG1( Finished goods), that time if i do migo for the material, the excise tab will not come, if i change as raw material, its coming. but my client told me that materials shood maintain in RG1. how can i maintain those materials as RG1 with excie tab want to come in MIGO. plz explain.

Hi,

You cannot capture EI via MIGO for RG1 material.

Do "No excise entry" during MIGO and update RG1 table via J1I5.

And capture excise with option J1IEX > EWPO
