Hi,

i am getting the following error while connecting to source system to traget system.

It seems the problem with only the target system .

I am not able to connect to the target  system from other systems also while i am testing connection.

Is there any gateway port or ipaddress configuration is missed?

I have given the correct ip address of the target system.

Below is the error description  :

Just check for firewall . Port 3305 should be open.

Is this target an ABAP system?

Try

sapms<SID>  3605/tcp

in OS service file and see this resolve your issue.

Hi

             Thanks all,

There is a issue with firewall which stops the incoming services. Network team resolved this.

Hi,

check on SAP operating system, if the following commands give an error:

ping <servername>

telnet <servername> 3305

If yes, it's

     - either an issue of wrong servername / portname

     - or a network issue and you have to contact network team to release firewall access

If no,

     - check local /etc/services File for sapgw05 entry (3305)
