To restrict users to make any status changes(for WBS,NW-ACT) in PRD through basis controls

Hi Experts,

                Even though our Basis person has removed authorization for change,create,delete,administration for some users but still they are able to change data in our projects as shown in the screen shot below:

May be it is not the right forum to ask but if you can provide some authorization objects which can be tricky here,please suggest.

Also, please suggest the right forum(link) to ask this query.

Hi Ankur,

Ask your basis team to create a one test role in Qualitty system which resemble the user who has done the changes in PRD.

check for authorization object B_USERSTAT (not sure correctly) which might be there in that role or not but you have assertain what object is giving authorization to make chagnes in Quality system.

Testing is bit lenghty and cumbersome process but this is the one way of finding out and removing those objects from that role. After that you move those changes to PRD system and assign it to user.

Hi Sudhakar,

                   Thanks for your response. Yes, I have checked with our basis team and found that the need was to make restrictions at 'Field' -PS_ACTVT and previously we had made restrictions by giving field name as 'Activity' .

The issue is resolved now.

Search for it and see if you can manage to get hold of something useful.
