ES/TABLE = SHM_SEGS

The size of memory pool 10 is configured as advised.  And sappfpar does not return any errors for memory pool sizes.

There is 14Gb physical memory and 26Gb swap space allocated to the server.

Any ideas ?

Regards

Niamh

What is the value of EM/TOTAL_SIZE_MB ?

Set the value to approximately 8096

Also set the parameter ES/SHM_SEG_SIZE = 2048.

Reboot the server.

Hi,

Yes the Default and Instance profiles were changed to match the new host.

Using UNIX/DB2

Also ran ipcclean and rebooted the OS

Thanks

OK, that's great.

Please take a look at the dev_W0 trace file and also did you copy the /services file from the old host.

This looks like a Shared Memory issue, rebooting the server/database should fix it, but anyway take a look at the following notes.

Did you modify the Default and Instance Parameter file to match the new host?

What OS/DB are you using?
