Open PO commitments carry forward - Over all Budget

Request your expertise inputs on the below issue.

Our Client is  using Over all budget process, But they are not doing open PO commitments carry forward process

under year end activities.

Kindly let me know is it required open PO commitments carry forward to next financial year

in Over all budget also? I though it is required for annual budget process only.

Am I correct or anything wrong.

You are right.

In Overall Budget, System consider budget as a whole.

Hence there is no need of Budget carry forward.

Hope you are concern with overall column of S_ALR_...58 only.

I think only the one way for carry forwarding commitment & budget as well in next fiscal year.

suppose you have 1000 overall budget and 100 actual and 100 commitment and if you carry forwarding budget like rest of 800 in next fiscal year then within next year you can use overall rest budget 800Rs

1. CJCF - Carry Forward Commitment
2. CJCO - Budget Carryforward

My question is not like that, Carry forward commitment is required for all type of budgets?

i.e., Over all budget and Annual budget.

I thought it is required for annual budget only.
