Prodn Orders from ECC get de-allocated on the plng board

Hi All,

We are doing finite sched on the planning board for a couple of our time-cont resources. When we convert a finitely scheduled planned order into prodn order the prodn order that comes back from ECC gets a "De-allocated" status. We want it to be allocated & not overload the resource, which it does when in the de-allocated status.

We use "Find Slot" mode on out strgy profile - FYI.

Any idea what could be causing this issue?

Thanks

Hi Andy,

Are you converting the order in APO or in ECC?  What you are describing is actually standard behavior if you change the order in ECC.  See SAP Note 753626.

Hey Mike,

We convert APO Planned Orders into Prodn Orders & then switch the Production Version/Source of Supply, if required (like when the machine goes down/outage). We also create CO01 production Orders from ECC.

Either case, the Orders appear de-allocated

Hope this helps

Cheers
