I can't create a cost collector after I create a claim

Hi, im currently working on a project on R/3

When I create a CLAIM, I want to create a cost collector wich i can associate to a wbs element. I've tried different ways but the costs are never shown in the project plan cost report.

The cost collector its suposed to be created every time you make a claim or so was my experience in an old version.

Dear Pelayo,

In order to be able to use this functionality, the BAdI NOTIF_COST_CUS_CHECK must have an active implementation, where you set the parameter E_CREATE_COST_COLLECTOR to 'X'.

Please check it, if it exists in your system.

Thank you Edna for your answer, i already tried this Badi exactly as you said, I've also customized the order value update, but still the problem persist.

If you have any other idea you could share i would really appreciate it.

Hi Pelayo,

to create a cost collector we need to implement the BADI as per Edna. Besides that hope you must have defined the Cost elements basing on notification types for change orders, material, etc.

Still it is not working I guess there must be some other issue exists which you have to figure out.

You may refer to SAP for solution.
