Multi language Syndication

Hi Experts,

Question on Multilingual syndication from MDM to ECC using DEBMDM06.

In MDM in Customer Main Table, we have address fields like NAME1, STREET, CITY etc. all the address fields are multi lingual enabled.

Now we want to syndicate the multilingual fields to SAP ECC system. In syndication Map, Customer table fields are mapped to E1BPAD1VL.

If I split the Customer Multilingual fields by Value then I get on source side language value pair which is 0..n but attributes in E1BPAD1VL like NAME1 etc are 0..1. If I split the Customer Multilingual fields by Language then I get on source side, one new field per enabled language. SO how to map multiple source language fields to target structure?

Thanks,

Ahmed

Hello,

At a time only one language can be syndicated from MDM.

You can define multiple ports, multiple maps and syndicate each with respective language, one after the other.

Hope this solves your query

Hi Ahmed,

the standard DEBMDM06 IDoc does not support this use case.

You'll need to implement a specific IDoc type including inbound processing on the ECC. Then you can use your own IDoc in MDM for syndication.

Best regards
