AS ABAP SUPPORT PACKEGES ERROR IN SAP ERP EHP5

Hi Gurus

  we are newly installed SAP ERP EHP5 as abap, we got error when update new packages to the abap system, we are upgrade the kernal properly.

  when update support packages we got the bellow error

The import was stopped, since an error occurred during the phase

CHECK_REQUIREMENTS, which the Support Package Manager is unable to

resolve without your input.

After you have corrected the cause of the error, continue with the

import by choosing Support Package -> Import queue from the initial

screen of the Support Package Manager.

The following details help you to analyze the problem:

     -   Error in phase: CHECK_REQUIREMENTS

     -   Reason for error: TP_CANNOT_CONNECT_SYSTEM

     -   Return code: 0013

     -   Error message: A tool used by tp got a signal from operating

         system

HI Shravan,

1. Try to reconfigure TMS in your system.

2. If above step is not worked, then rename file in location /usr/sap/trance/<SID> to <sid>.old, Then retry importing support packages.

thanks for giving replay replay, there is no sid file in /usr/sap/trance

sid file at /usr/sap , so shall i rename the folder to <sid>old

Hi,

Have you tried to reconfigure TMS?

First try to reconfigure STMS properly if it's not worked even though TP is working fine, TMS is configured properly, TP check should be fine then go for file rename.

It's /usr/sap/transe/buffer/<sid> rename this <SID> file.

It will Help you.
