Hi,

Both are used for value mapping.

In Fixvalues Function, you have to maintain the values in table which is saved together with the most current message mapping and can only be used once.

In Value Mapping Function values are maintained during configuration.

Hi Koteshwara,

Fix value function is used for mapping your source data to target eg if you want map X1, X2, X3 to Y1,Y2,Y3 then use fixvalue fnc and in the pairs write X1 Y1, X2 Y2 etc.......then when you will do source field->fixvalue->target field and your source will have X1, then your target will have Y1.

Thanks,

Hi Koteswara rao,

Fixed values function provides simple generic function value mapping(or key mapping) in the integration Repository.

EX: if key is AB then the value should be 2 , BC the value should be 3 etc.

Value mapping function provides more specific value transormation.

Thanks and Regards,

Chandu.
