Future date value for FROM category for delivery date in service line not allowed?

Hi,

We are on SRM 7.1. Extended classic.

The issue we are facing is that in the PO screen,for a service hierarcy line(see below)when the delivery date category "FROM" is selected,if I enter the date value as any FUTURE date(other than current system date),then in the BADI BBP_ECS_PO_OUT_BADI,the value at runtime is still coming up as current(today) date.

Can someone please verify if this is std functionality that delivery date for FROM category always has to be today's date and no future date?

In standard it allows any future date.

BADI activation changes the standard behaviour.
