Hi Shreeyath,

We did a SCM upgrade from 5.0 to 7.0 EHP1 support pack 9. If you follow the upgrade guide from SAP correctly, I think you should not expect to see any problems from standard functions. We encountered some issues, but most of them related to our own development programs. Also, if you are not using SNP, the situation should be more simple. Here are some consideration points which might able to help:

- Double check any per-requisite pack level is required on database level

- Seeking help from SAP to perform a upgrade assessment / communicate with SAP to have remote support during upgrade period for production environment

- Document clearly the steps in program /SAPAPO/OM_LC_UPGRADE_70 (including required down time to process data - backup/restore) **This is the core program

- If you have SNP, the timing to STOP the CIF is important also. Keep all pending queue in R3 side instead of having any pending queue in SCM.
