Error Systems name (ALL) is different from name in TADIR

Hi guys.

While performing a Support Package update of a NW 7.3 EHP1, im getting this error during Shadow Instance Import

SAP released Note 1754641 - Systems name (ALL) is different from TADIR, return code 16, where its states this is a bug within tp version 380.03.91 (Kernel Release 720).

I was able to overcome this error during the CHECKS step, but now it came up again during MAIN Shadow Instance Import, and i wasnt able to locate which is the template used during this stage that should be modified, since DEFAULT.TP0 is not having influence on this stage.

Also SAP mentions the bug is fixed on that tp version, but still not available on the marketplace.

Any ideas where to get this new TP or which template should be modified?

Hi Martin,

got the same error today in my 7.0 EHP1 upgrade.

Same kernel 720 as you with tp 380.03.89.

Indeed, the workaround does not work if you add

WATCH_IMPORTLOCKS = false

to DEFAULT.TP0

However, I added the same line to

/usr/sap/<SID>/SUM/var/DEFAULT.TPP

and

/usr/sap/<SID>/SUM/sys/profile/DEFAULT.TP0

Did not get the error so far now!

Hey Brad,

thanks for the input; in my case was the SHADOW.TPP located on the var directory since this was during the shadow instance creation.

FYI,

sap oss told me about the new tp ETA :

The patch is currently in assembly and have been given a very high

priority for release.
