Local Printer - Hide/Close SAPLPD-Window

Hi experts,

we print with the "Host Spool Access Method = F F: Printing on Front End Computer".

With this print function, we always get the "SAPLPD.LOG"-Window.

Is there a possibility, to hide this function or close it automatically after finishing the printjob?

Thx in advance

Hello Christian,

You can set it to "Run Minimized" to avoid this. Check this link -

http://www.ams.utoronto.ca/AMS_Help/printing/config.htm

Also have you tried Host Spool access method "G:Frontend print with control tech:. You might want to test this, it serves similar purpose without SAPLPD.

Samik

Hello Samik,

thank you for your help.

The link sounds nice, but it is for 3.1 and 95.

We actually use Windows 7 - do you know a possibility on the OS?

G:Frontend print with control tech. is not helpful, as there I get a popup which I've to confirm.

Thx for help.
