material type FERT

We want system to give error message if we try to create the standard order for FERT material type.

Is it possible? if it is possible then how

Surprising and weird requirement which I never come across !!!!!!!!!

Can you update here as to why you want the system to prevent creating orders for FERT which in normal cases, FERT is intended for sales. You can try with any of the following user exits.

1. USEREXIT_CHECK_VBAP in the program MV45AFZB
2. USEREXIT_SAVE_DOCUMENT in the program MV45AFZZ

Kindly consider deleting combination of document type and item category group from the determination of item category.

Hi,

    Use Material Listing and Exclusion function, So by Excluding the FERT Material type for Sales dicument type will work perfectly, I did the same in my company for HALB material type
