Hi experts,
I'm newbie in Webdynpro ABAP. I'm trying to develop a WDA application. Our servers are upgraded recently from 4.6C to ECC 6.0.
When I incorporate view and go to layout tab while developing, the system gives me proxy error, page can't be displayed.
I've gone through the related notes 1008689 1009930 and 517484.
I've activated all the necessary service through SICF as mentioned in note 517484. Also Implemented correction of the note 1008689.
Still I'm facing with the same error.
What is HTTPPURLOC table ? How to configure it? I'm not understadning its documentation at all.
Any idea about this ?
Naimish
Any idea about this?
Please provide me with the Port creation procedure and parameter values used.
Thank you very much.

Hello Friends, I am still facing the problem even with activating all the services mentioned in the notes and also the port config is correct. The problem is nothing is getting displayed in layout tab not even the Forbidden message. Looks like GUI version issue. I am on 7.1 GUI with Patch 3. Anybody facing similar problem?
Thanks
Prasad
Hi,
see <a href="http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw2004s/helpdata/en/59/31ae42e0fac911e10000000a1550b0/frameset.htm">this</a> on URL generation and HTTPURLLOC. There's also an article in the BSP Wiki on <a href="https://wiki.sdn.sap.com/wiki/display/BSP/Using+Proxies">this</a>
Did you carry out all <a href="http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw2004s/helpdata/en/43/e86de5008b4d9ae10000000a155369/frameset.htm">configuration settings</a>?

Hi,
Thanks for your reply. I had already visited the documents that you've specified before posting. But I'm not getting anything in my mind by reading that what to do and how as I'm not a basis guy.
The problem is that my browser is not able to connect to the viewdesigner page of AS - ABAP server. I've already bypass the proxy for the URL.
Still it is not connecting.
Hi,
are you sure you've activated these ICF services for the WDA development environment (see note 517484) :
/default_host/sap/bc/webdynpro/sap/public/bc/viewdesigner/
/default_host/sap/bc/wdvd/
/default_host/sap/bc/webdynpro/sap/configure_application
/default_host/sap/bc/webdynpro/sap/configure_component
/default_host/sap/bc/webdynpro/sap/wd_analyze_config_appl
/default_host/sap/bc/webdynpro/sap/wd_analyze_config_comp
/default_host/sap/bc/webdynpro/sap/wd_analyze_config_user
Note: These ICF nodes are used for the WDA configuration editor
ONLY. The nodes are only allowed to be active in a development
system, and under no circumstances in a production system (due to
a security risk).

Helo All,
we are at ECC 6.0, SAP_BASIS - 700 - Level 9.
I have activated all the services stated in the notes 517484, 1088717, I also implemented note 1008689.
When I am trying to display the view layout I am getting message No active plug-in found and the layout page shows like "The page cannot be displayed", so here I am not able to add UI elements.
I am not sure what else I am missing here.
I will appreciate if any body can help me out in this configuration.
Please send me if any body has config step by step guide
I am not sure about the port and other stuff.
When I click on the message No active plug-in found colud see the below more details.
