Is a stand alone PC version of Solution Composer available

As a consultant one does not always have access to client's SAP instance, certainly not during the initial negotiating stages, I was wondering if a version of SAP Solution Composer was available outside of SAP Solution Manager, ie such that one could install it on one's PC. I would appreciate any advice.

Hi. Did any of you manage to source the application? I used to have a copy but have lost it now. I'd really like to use it again. My copy was was smc_public.exe

No, it has been replaced with Solution Explorer , which is web based solution you can find on SAP marketplace.

Jansi, the link you posted is correct, but when you follow the whole downloading process, the final link seems to be dead.

It looks like Solution composer is not available any more

check with http://www.sap.com/solutions/businessmaps/composer

or check with the classical url http://solutioncomposer.sap.com

You will see at the top right the "Powered by Solution Composer" link. See what happens.
