Connecting to FTP sever using Port 22

Hi All,

Can we connect to FTP sever using port 22 using File Adapter (Transport protocol : FTPS) in XI 3.0 ?  or else we need to go for SFTP adapter only

Hi Vinay,

I don't think this will work. You ought to use SFTP Adapter.

It has to do with differences between SFTP and FTPs. Port 22 is reserved for SSH type communication and FTPs uses SSL.

Google the differences between the 2 (SSH and SSL) to get a clearer picture.

The port 22 is reserved. Instead, please use port 21 for this type of connection.
