Hello,

from the dump.

EM...... 2002720576

Heap.... 2000749616

Using 2Gb of extended and 2gb of heap

Increase abap_heap_dia parameter to 4Gb 4000749616

and restart instance

Also increase abab-heap_total by 2Gb

Then try t/s again

if this is a must to run with that wide area of data selection than proceed with memory management modification.

Whenever limit the data selection is possible, it is better to process with smaller chunk of data considering only 6 GB memory available.

Hi Hiten,

6GB is a very huge memory and hence i believe memory is not the main reason behind it....Could you pls show the same to the functional consultant who created the programe (if customised) or ABAPer  in your organisation...the program running in the background needs to optimized...that should solve it

Hi Hiten,

when we generally have this issue we generally try to check the program as that might need to be rechecked for accuracy (as mostly incorrect config or code throws the system in a limbo and results in a time out due to the above error)

Its an old one but Pls try Note 20527 (there should be a newer note after this...in case you are already on a higher version of R3 then pls try for the later notes through the same)
