Aggregation in planning book

Hello,

I have a problem with the correct aggregation of a key figure in a planning book.

A macro calculates a key figure via batch job on a specified level (it is the lowest level; level of material). The macro calculation works right. But now the aggregation of the key figure on higher levels does not work correctly for past time buckets. For future buckets the aggregation works correctly!

I am not sure, but can it be possible that a reason for this is that the planning book is only editable for future buckets and not for past time buckets? This is a setting in the definition of the specified planning book.

Concerning the key figure there are only standard settings, such as 'pro rata' disaggregation.

Here an example to explain the problem:

                    month 07/2012     month 10/2012

----------------------------------------------------------------------

Material 1          500                         100

Material 2          300                         200

Material 3          200                         500

----------------------------------------------------------------------

Aggregation    50 (false)             800 (correct)

                     expected: 1000

Is somebody able to explain this behaviour?

Thanks in advance and kind regards

Heinz

Heinz,

Exactly what do you mean when you say "Aggregation"?  Do you mean 'Total' for characteristic "Material"?  Or, do you have an explicit KF "Aggregation"?   Or....?

Hello Heinz,

In addition could you please share the macro you are using in the process.

And also could you please tell in settings for macro execution which of the options  'Details only'  or "All planning Objects" is selected?
