Reservation without item at network save

Hi,

I am facing an issue as:

when i create network header and save it. system is automatically creating a reservation. but when i go to mb23 to check the reservation it gives error saying reservation number contains no items.

problem is that the number range is getting  blocked for all network headers. eg. i have created 6 networks, so 6 reservations are created in system and next available number to create reservation is 7. all these 6 created reservations contains no item.

Kindly suggest.

System is actually not creating reservation but only a number. When you add any materials then it will generate serial as XXXX/01 and so on..

I think it should not be an issue even if system is consuming a number.
