How to create new Characteristics

Hello ,

               I am trying to create new characteristics and key figures and add them to the info objects list in my info area . How do i create custom Characteristic and Key figure .

Hello,

Please launch RSA1 transaction.

Create info area

Create Info object catalogues for characterstics and keyfigure

Now right click on characteristics catalogue and choose Create InfoObject.

Use can use the standard infoobject as the reference .

Select the reference info objects option like 9amatnr , 9alocno etc

All the properties of the standard info objects will be copied to new one.

Similarly you can create Keyfigure info objects.

are you creating characteristic for PO or PR.

check the relevant setting in the spro

Hello,

The characteristics are created in transaction RSA1.

You must activate them before using them.
