Error during control cycle creation

Hi,

While creating control cycle (PK01)I am getting error " Supply area stor. loc. does not match corresponding entry in WM customising".

If we see F1 help and go for maintaining Storage location control for Warehouse,Plant, storage type and Plant combination we get error "Based on st type control,stor type DB1 HRK is unsuitable for stor.loc.control".

How to address these errors? Do we need to maintain storage location control?

Hi ,

Use same storage location relevant for WM activation in Supply area assignment.

Is your storage type SU managed , are you using any Storage location control for storage location flip  ( posting change  from one storage location to another  ) for the storage type for which you are creating control cycle.

crosscheck these entrys , screen shot will be helpful to analyse faster .

We can not use storage type with SU managed with storage location control. We removed SUM from storage type and applied storage location control.

tcode PK05 can be used to maintain the supply area and the storage location combination

once you have done that then maintain the contorl cycle by LPk1

Hello Prashant,

Storage location control related error arises whenever there are more than one WH managed sloc assigned to one WH. In this case, all the WH sloc shared common storage types. your error

" Supply area stor. loc. does not match corresponding entry in WM customising"

indicates that, you are missing the sloc control configuration. Please maintain below configuration under OLML--->WM--->Interface--->IM --> define storage location control

during creation of Production supply area, we need to specify sloc in that, check material for which you are creation Control cycle is extended for that storage location or not. you can check production supply area with'PK05'

Material is already extended for storage location and supply areas maintained for storage location in PK05.

Any other issue?
