Query regarding changing the credentials for ftp

Former Member

Hi All,

We use FTP adapter in more than 100 Communication Channels in our project. The credentials are working fine.

But the system log of ftp server shows that there is some calls which is made to FTP with incorrect login. This may be due to incorrect logon in any one of the FTP channels.

Is there any way to check the credentials of which channel is causing this problem apart from manually checking each and every communication channel.

Thanks

Suganya.

Thanks all for your valuable reply. We have tried the above suggestion but still we could not identify the channel. In communication Monitoring, the channel is not erroring out because that may not be polling at the time when we are monitoring the Communication channel.

Regarding the Message monitoring in RWB as suggested by Raja Sekhar, even this seems not be useful since i dont find any Adapter engine errors. This is because the interface may be active but not recently used. So this option also seems to be not useful to us.

Can someone help us on this regard.

Hi Suganya,

have you tried to look into Communication Channel Monitor? I would expect that queries with failed authorization checks get a red status light there. You can easily sort by status, so you don't have to go through each channel individually.

Hi Suganya,

If you are in SAP PI 7.1, go to runtime workbench -> component monitoring->Adapter Engine->communication channel monitoring.

Here you can filter the communication channels with errors:
