Enter rate MYR/ Rate Type M in the System Settings

Hi Gurus,

While system processing XML message (SRM contract) to create contract in ECC6, we receive error message "Enter rate MYR/ Rate Type M in the System Settings".

After debugging, we found relevant classess & programs (function group MEOUT) trigger the error:

CL_RULE_INTERPRETER_MM

CL_SIMPLE_RULE_MM

CL_SIMPLE_RULE_MM=============CM00F

CL_RULE_INTERPRETER_MM========CM005

some sample code:

METHOD if_rule_mm~execute.

  DATA: l_update_strategy TYPE mmpur_ty_rule_validation,

        l_context LIKE my_context,

        l_msgobj  TYPE REF TO if_message_obj_mm.

*

* the rule stores the context for private and convience access only !

* it's also stored on the stack to allow re-entrance of execute

*

  l_context = my_context.            "push

  my_context = im_context.

  CALL METHOD check_pre_conditions

    EXPORTING

      im_context = im_context

    EXCEPTIONS

      failed     = 1.

  IF sy-subrc EQ 0.

    IF has_input_changed( im_context ) EQ mmpur_yes.

      CALL METHOD check_on_demand_rules

        EXPORTING

          im_context = im_context

        EXCEPTIONS

          failed     = 1.

Any ideas what kind of error? rule??

note: double check and it is not currency nor exchange rate issue.

Thanks,

GG

Dear Glen,

Are you using Central contract management.If then I would suggest you to go through note

1547977 FAQ: Central Contract Management (SOA based)

Point Releated to BADi

The system determines the revenues with rate 'M' if a exchange rate is

maintained in contract header or item. This is standard behaviour.

The value date is maintained in customizing (transaction OKEV):

Controlling => General controlling => Organizations => Maintain Versions

=> Settings for each fiscal year. Check the settings for the

controlling area. Please also maintain the rate in transaction OB08.

regards,

Lalita
