Hi experts, I'd like to ask a question to you:
I'm trying to test the sending of emails for some kinds of actions like Document Task Reminder and Document Milestone Reminder but no success so far.
The only email that is being sent by Sourcing 7.0 is that a user was added as a collaborator in a Master Agreement.
I've checked the settings in Mail Configurations and those Mail types are set to Send (Internal and External).
Any clues on what may be wrong?
Thanks.
Guys, just solved this.
I saw a post from Anita Posseldt where she included the host name in the Cluster Members in the Cluster Configuration tab. As soon I did that inclusion, that mails were sent to the users.
Thanks!

Hi Roberto,
there is no single switch which turns on mail notifications for all business documents.
The reminder has to be set for each business document type individually e.g. for project schedules it has to be done on the project type level.
Hope this helps,
Thanks,
Armin

Hello Armin,
I'm trying to activate those notifications on a Master Agreement Type:
On the master agreement type I've enable all the notifications that are available there:
Retention Reminder: Alerts and E-mail Notification
Agreement Minimum Alerts:Alerts and E-mail Notification
Agreement Rebate Alerts:Alerts and E-mail Notification
Agreement Penalty Alerts:Alerts and E-mail Notification
Line Item Limit Alerts:Alerts and E-mail Notification
Line Item Minimum Alerts: Alerts and E-mail Notification
Line Item Rebate Alerts:Alerts and E-mail Notification
Line Item Penalty Alerts:Alerts and E-mail Notification
Is there any other place that I have to activate the notifications?
Thanks,
Hi Roberto,
the only places where email notification is enabled are these places:
- Mail configuration
- MA Type
- System information --> Daemon --> Email enabled
Another idea would be to check if the messages are actually being processed through Administrative Reports (NOTE: you need to be logged in as enterprise for that).
Please let me know if that helps,
Thanks,
Armin

Hi Armin,
In our project we are facing an issue where mails are not being receipt by the persons to whom they are sent. There is nothing in the queued messages and all the mails are in the pocessedd messages.
Can you give me an idea where to check the issue, nothing in log files also.
Thanks,
Ankur Goyal
Hi Robert,
Thanks for your reply, i want to add that we are having the below message triggering into our system in log files:-
The system.master_timezone property must be reset to be the same as the app server timezone (GMT), and the app server must then be restarted.
Before the above issue our emails were sent correctly, so i think no issue with the firewall setting.
Can you please help us now to resolve this issue.
Thanks,
Ankur Goyal
