Regarding upgradation of HR support pack from level 600 to 605

Hi friends

I had just finished the installation of  ECC 6.0 EHP5 and i successfully upgraded the spam/saint from version 38 to 46 and kernel from support pkg level 46 to 300 now i have to upgrade HR support pkg level from 600 to 605.

I have to upgrade my HR patch from 600 to 605.and my solman is not configured there are some issues in saprouter

My component patch level are as follows

SAP_ABA     702

SAP_BASIS  702

PI_BASIS      702

SAP_APPL    605

is there is any way to upgrade it manually.

Hi,

To update these components to EHP5, please refer to the below
information.

To do this, there are a few conditions:

1. You must have a stack xml file which must be generated from
   MOPZ.
2. The Netweaver EHP1 is not a part of the queue to be defined.
   (should be updated already)
3. SAP_APPL 604/605 is not a part of the queue to be defined.
   (should be updated already)

Please make sure that you select technical usage Human Capital

Management when you use Maintenance Optimizer. Technical Usage

Human Capital Management will include EA-HR 605 and SAP-HR 604, which

are the EHP5 stack for these two components.

Select the correct technical usage according to note 1165438.

Hi Saxena,

Since you are components at 702 level, you can upgrade HR components in two ways.

1) with SUM tool this will require downtime

2) SAINT

make sure download all required patched/addons/delta upgrades.

anyway it is recommonded to calculate stack through solman.
