How to execute the function 'calculate periods' by background job to refresh the Planning Calendar?

Hi Experts,

We use Factory Calendar assigned in APO Planning Calendar (Time Stream).

When there's update in Factory Calendar from R3 to APO, in order to update the buckets in the APO planning calendar accordingly, how to refresh the APO planning calendar?

hi,

you need to transfer the changes ( For eg: if there has been a new entry for holidays or more working days), you need to first transfer via RSA1 in APO.

you could use the program

/SAPAPO/TIMESTREAM_UPDATE

if there are inconsistencies between calendar assignment for plants and DCs you have to manually go to the /sapapo/calendar and regenerate "calculate periods"

also please check in rule determination if you are using GATP.

After running report /SAPAPO/TIMESTREAM_UPDATE, log says ' No changes in the Factory Calendar'.

Non-working day still shown in the buckets of planning calendar. Planning calendar is not updated.

did you do RSA1 in APO? after which all the updates in R/3 will be transferred to APO and then you need to update the timestream.
