Hi experts,
I am new to STMS.
We have three systems:
SOL(100) - Dev
SOL(200) - QAS
SOL(300) - PROD
All of these ABAP systems are in solution manager but with different clients. What are the steps needed in order to setup the transport route for these systems in STMS? Should I create a virtual system in STMS? Any help would be great. Thanks a lot!
Luigi

hi.
SOL(100) SOL(200) and SOL(300) are single system with 3 clients or different systems.
if all are different system.
select one which you want as domain controller.
let it be SOL (100)
login in client 000 for SOL (100) system.
go to STMS.
as soon as you go to STMS for 1st time a screen is popup and ask you to create STMS and select the domain controller.
then add the stallite system and then logon into the client you want to configure (SOL (300) and SOL (200))
there will be popup to approve in STMS approve it.
for transport route ( DEV->QA>PRO) dev to quality there are 2 routes, one conslidation and other delivery route from QA to PROD only one route that is delivery route
for better understanding go throught the link

This is possible to do .
You go into STMS , then go to transport routes , change to edit mode .
Then Edit --> Transport Target group -->Create
Give a Name such as /ZSOL/ , provide a description , Add system as SOL and client assignment as 200. Drag the transport target into the window.
Once done , then Edit --> Transport route --> create .
Drag the stylus from /ZSOL/ to PE1 , add consolidation route as ZSOL .
Repeat the above and add consolidation route as SAP.
Now again drag the stylus from PE1 to PE1 again . This time add delivery route . Source client as 200 and target client as 300.
Ensure that clients 200 and 300 are closed and do not allow changes in them .
Once you release in 100, it would be ready for import into 200. Import into 200 , it will be ready for import into 300.
Hope this helps.
Regards
Ratnajit
