Hello Abhishek,

I would have been able to reply sooner if this was posted in

The SCN (not SDN) advanced editor has a remove formatting button located just next to the font size selector:

To use this:

  1. Make sure you're using the advanced editor
  2. Select all or only the text to be cleaned
  3. Click Remove formatting

Don't forget to use other built in formatting options available on the edit:

  • Use the Style option to set text as paragraph or headers
  • Try to keep the native format: familiar look and feel makes for a more readable text
  • Use the spellchecker (top right of toolbar): it only takes on misspelled word to cause a bad impression

Thanks,

Jason

PS I'm now going to move this thread from to SCN Support

One more tip: you can always paste you text to Notepad and then copy/paste the clean text to the editor.

this wasn't the answer to my question.

i was asking how to save the default fonmt style.

say font family to Comic Sans ms.

and you are telling me that there is remove formatting option.

is this that i have to choose all the time comic sans font style where using advbanced editor.

i want to save comic sans as my default font style.

I see.  The answer is no: you cannot set a default font style for your profile. The advanced editor is set according to the SCN site standard.

I strongly encourage you to use the default font. There's increased usability when consistent formats are used across a website's content: every time a color is changed or diff font selected, this causes 'noise' and requires the user adapt.
