Hello all, does anyone know what is Periodic reports and GRC CUP 5.3 or it this part or RAR 5.3, its kind of urgent please....thanks much

Also Please why and when we use HR TRIGGERS in GRC CUP 5.3.

Regarding periodic reports, could you provide some details about what exactly you are looking for?

Sorry that was periodic SODs not reporting, acctually a qustione asked in a interview with one of my friend....does anyone know wha is PERIODIC SOCS IN CUP ?

Hi Aziz,

Yeah, HR trigger is used when we need to initiate any position based security or access for HR master

data maintained in transaction:- PA30.

Can you elaborate little more on periodic reports as in what sort of expectation is set from this? or what exactly are you trying to refer to?

Hi Junaid,

Business Scenario For HR Trigger:

 

In a typical business scenario where SAP HR system is being used to maintain the master data for all employees, whenever any change occurs in the SAP HR system then it needs to be manually maintained in all the other systems.

The HR Triggers functionality of CUP will allow creation of automatic requests in CUP corresponding to changes in the master data in SAP HR system. User does not need to fill the CUP request form.

When an event is triggered in the SAP HR system, such as hiring a new employee, rules are applied and a corresponding action to create a workflow request is initiated in CUP.

The request can be processed through Compliant User Provisioning workflow and can be provisioned to backend system directly or indirectly through CUP.

There is no as such periodic report in CUP infact you can run the jobs available under background tab in configuration, periodically.

Thanks Akil, so as you said there is no such thing like periodic reports ? right?

Do we user most HR TRIGGERS, or we just use if you we are using HR system such as postion based security or HR security right ?
