how to increase performance of background job?

Hi i am new to SAP. please give me any program or idea to increase the performance of background job.

Hi,

Could you check the background work process status whil your job is running or also check how many background work process configured on there ?

And check your Data base performance ....

Also check the all hit ratio and memory parameter and swap space through the ST02 .

There is nothing like Background Job performance fix.
