hi,
As i understand you can ping the server but cannot connect the system.
few questions
1. what is the hostname and host number of your system.
2. you are trying to ping with hostname or Ip address ( i think ip address so can you try to ping with hostname)?
few checks need to perform
1. see if hosts and service file is mainted.
2. check the port is open or not.
3. maintain the hostfile and your saplogon.ini file is updated ?
check the above and provide us with result what are you getting.
ping hostname not ip address.
regards,
Meenakshi

Hello Aldo,
You need to login with ebdadm user to the Windows operating system on host 10.95.197.7 where the EBD system runs. There you will find dev_disp under one of the the above-mentioned paths
<drive letter>:\usr\sap\EBD\<Instance>\work\dev_disp (on Windows)
/usr/sap/EBD/<Instance>/work/dev_disp (on Unix based systems)
The EBD folder exists there, its sure.
Best regards,
Adam
hi Chiarell,
Please contact with your Network Team and make sure about the SAP ports are opened and rules are Ok which are created for SAP servers.
please check the connectivity with.
telnet 10.95.197.7 3200
If telnet not does not work then you are facing issue due to Firewall/Network.
Please also have a look at SAP Note:
180940 - Microsoft QoS Support

Hello Aldo,
Download and install the SAPMMC from here. More information is available under SAP MMC Snap-In.
Then open SAPMMC add the EBD system from menu
File
Add/Remove Snap-in
SAP Systems Manager
Add >
Activate 'Use fixed SAP instancelist' and 'Expert user mode' options
Next >
Next >
Next >
System: EBD
Instance: 10.95.197.7 00
>> Add >>
Finish
OK
The EBD system has to be displayed with green colour.
If not, either it is not runing and has to be started first or cannot be reached for some reasons (firewall, wrong IP, etc...).
Best regards,
Adam
