No valid Inspection Lot number : 8381,000

Hi all

Inpection lot(35761) is created for inspection type 04. ( Quality inspection for GR after production ).

when i  insert  the result in inspection lot in t-code QE01 in particualar charecteristic, error message pop_up " No valid inspection 8381 lot exit.

at time of save.

Are you using 'Copy inpsection results' in QE01?

Are you recording the results against characteristics already available in inspection lot or inserting a new characteristic in result recording screen?

Make sure that you are referring the same inspection lot here, as the lot you are processing is 35761 and error message is reflecting 8381

Will you please provide error message number and system diagnosis? You can get this by double clicking  on error message.
