difference in users. in ABAP and JAVA

hi,

i have a HR backend system connected to Portal

communictaion is with Jco from portal to ABAP system.

when users are using Ess/Mss and give a call to backend.

i can see only one user on portal and 3 rfc jco connection at backend.

in my other system it is one to one realation.

any idea why it is happening.

check this out. You probably have maximum number of connections defined for jco and also it depends on the load.

thaks for the reply can you tell this max connection is per user or per group.

i am little bit confused about these values it set for par user or per connection.
