In DB13 the CheckDB terminated with errors:

BR0252E Function _stat64() failed for 'E:\oracle\REP' at location BrDiskStatGet-1

BR0253E errno 2: No such file or directory

BR0277E Determination of disk volume status for E:\oracle\REP failed

Actually it was never succesfully (checked up to 27th February).

Checked Note 952080 - BR*Tools fail with BR0252E Function stat() failed

But this is no soft link.

It is an ORACLE 11.2.0.2.0 on Windows Server 2008

Started checkdb in db13, but with same error messages as result.

Any idea's what I am missing ?

Hi Geert,

This permission issue of user SAPServiceSID.

1. Add this user to group ORA_SID_DBA, ORA_SID_OPER, SAP_SID_GlobalAdmin and SAP_SID_Localadmin.

2. Right click on E drive- properties - Security - Advanced - Permission - Give Full permission to SAP ServiceSID user.

Hi Geert,

Is this a Local or Domain Installation?

I think it might be an issue with the Users involved. for a Domain installation, only domain users are able to access the System.

Check that the SIDADM and SAPServiceSID are created locally or in Domain.

Hi,

Please check with your ORACLE_HOME and check for the settings from where the disk volume is fetching the data.

When trying to connect all the tables from the database. It did checks the path defined. So Please check for your oracle home path .

It will sure fix the issue.

Thanks & Regards,

Ahamed.

Hello Geert,

It looks to be a permission issue, can you please make sure sidadm and SAPServiceSID have full access to this directory and also that both the users are part of Administrator group, ORA_SID_DBA and ORA_SID_OPER groups

Thanks

Hello Rohit,

Added full control permissions for the user sidadm and SAPServiceSID on the folder E:\oracle\REP.

The user sidadm and SAPServiceSID are part of the Administrator group, ORA_SID_DBA and ORA_SID_OPER groups.

Result is same message:

BR0280I BRCONNECT time stamp: 2012-08-13 12.27.26

BR0813I Schema owners found in database REP: APPQOSSYS, DBSNMP, DIP, OPS$IN1SAP\REPADM, OPS$IN1SAP\SAPSERVICEREP, ORACLE_OCM, OU

Try to add 'List Folder Contents' rights to E:\ for user <sid>adm and SAPServiceSID

Hello Roman,

The user SAPServiceSID has full control and user sidadm has 'List Folder Contents' rights  for E:\ folder, subfolders and files.
