Set overall status of a process chain

Hello, I executed a process chain and one step of the process chain failed. I can see the failure of this step in transaction sm37 or in the protocol view of the process chain. Outstanding steps of the process chain were not proceed due to the failure of the step before.

But, I am wondering why the overall status of the process chain (in the protocol view) was net set to "red".....

The overall status is "yellow" - so the process chain is still proceeding in some way although the failure of a step. Now, I want to set this overall status to "red" to abend this process chain.

It is important because there are dependencies to other processes: as long as the process chain is "running", other jobs or process chains are not able to start.

There are no active jobs concerning the specified process chain in transaction sm37.

Does anybody know how to realize this?

Thanks and kind regards

Heinz
