Problem processing special character

Hi,

My scenario is mail to IDoc . File is being sent to PI as an email attachment of type .csv. and we are converting it to XML using FCC

.One of the filed is unit of measure.when we are trying to send "µF" , "µM" as an unit , The µ character is coming as junk like " �M ,�F".

Is there any FCC parameter or available adapter module which can be used to prevent this. Or is there any other way to handle it in PI.

You might want to try unicode 00B5 for the micro char.  you can use string replace function to replace micro char to "\u00B5". Please refer these links...
