Currency of Sales Org and Company code

Hi.

What will be the impact if the currency of the company code and currency of the sales organisation is different?

Inputs will be appreciated.

Hi,

    Like lakshmi told reporting purpose S.org currency will be taken and same will be stored in SIS. Company code currency is used for posting of revenues, discounts, surcharges, taxes and all

[Lakshmipathi]

Sales Org. currency

All your info structures / standard sales reports would be converted into this currency

Company Code currency

All postings from SD to FI would be posted and displayed in this currency

Does that mean that SO currency is only used for reporting purpose? Wont it have any importance at transaction level ?

Also, as per the explaination given by you for company code, if the billing is done in USD ( for export cutomers) and company code currency is in INR, then the posting and accounting documents will be creatd in INR ?
