Stock uploading/migration- Different scenarios

Dear Guru´s,

I am looking for sequential approach/ guidance in uploading WM stock with HU´s. I have 3 cases

·         Case 1: IM stock already exists without HU´s.

·         Case 2: Stock (WM) to be uploaded from scratch with HU´s.

C      Case 3: Stock (WM) to be uploaded from scratch without  HU´s

   Case 1: IM stock already exists without HU´s. 

If the stock exists non HU managed location then you need to move the stock through MB1B then system will assign the handling unit for the stock.

·         Case 2: Stock (WM) to be uploaded from scratch with HU´s.

YoYou can not upload the stock directly in WM ,You need t have that stock both inventory and WM level.For this you can use 501or 561 movement types.

C      Case 3: Stock (WM) to be uploaded from scratch without  HU´s

YoYou can not upload the stock directly in WM ,You need t have that stock both inventory and WM level.For this you can use 501or 561 movement types.But you need to use non HU location.
