maintenance plan

Hai all..

          I created single cycle plan with the parameter scheduling period: 30 days & cycle : 1 Day (in the meaning of plan need to call maintenance item daily upto one month). first time i released the call manually through ip10 & for further i run the ip30 t code in background( ie i spooled in back ground) evey day i got the call the calibration cycle works fine but afer 30 days of completion, again the plan schduled for next 30 days...

          i don't know what is the problem in schedule ?? can anyone pls help to resolve this??

When you execute IP30, SAP will re-schedule for scheduling period from system date.

(pre-requisite : 'rescheduling' indicator checked & date is reached end of previous scheduled planned date)

This is SAP standard behavior.

For your reference..

-Reschedule : SAP will re-schedule if any data like as period, cycle, is changed in maintenance plan.

also above situation (restart if previous schedule is reached last planned date.)

-Immediate : SAP will generate order(notification, insp. lot) if planned date locates in interval days.

If you don't want SAP schedule anymore..

1) don't select 'rescheduling' or 2) inactive maintenance plan or 3) develop enhancement.

     OK if i tick the rescheduling included, have u mean that  my plan rescheduled after reaching my last planned date???

could u plz check ur schedule in IP10 and see how long its planing ur cycle if its oing for more than one one month thn check ur maintenance plan

Initially, plan scheduled for 30 days only, at completion of last schedule again the next 30 days the schedule continuous... i created job using sm36 for the purpose of automatic call of maintenance plan??  is that correct way?

Hai nasir...

           Thanks...but for single cycle plan no need to assign the maint package into the task list. i think i have made mistake in job created for automatic maint plan call( sm36) of the tcode ip30. when i create job in sm36, i gave the periodic value as cycle time/unit ( 1 day ).there is no limit assigned for end date of schedule.so after 30 days of schedule completion again it calls the schedule plan & plan released for next 30 days...i am not sure in this... so i made two plan in development for checking.

      if u have idea about this pls confirm this...

what is the purpose of rescheduling included &Immediate start  indicators in IP30...

     The scenario which i mentioned also not working but if i am scheduled without tick the scheduling included in ip30 then it works fine...pls refer the below reply of Do Wook Kim
