Pricing Update through Pricing Type in PO

Former Member

Hi,

The scenario is to add a new pricing type with a new logic, so that the conditions can be updated in the PO.

The BAdI ME_PROCESS_PO_CUST may be used. But how can we add a new Pricing Type.

Hi Nimo,

You can use BAdI ME_DEFINE_CALCTYPE to have a specific pricing type other than Pricing Type "B"(Carry Out New Pricing) at the time of creation of PO or Pricing Type "C"(Copy manual pricing elements and redetermine the others) at the time of changing the PO.

The only condition for the above BAdI is you can use it only for ME21N/ME22N transaction(does not work with traditional ME21/ME22)

Go to SPRO -> MM -> Purchasing -> Business Add-Ins for Purchasing -> BAdI control of Pricing Type : Additional Fields for more information on how to implement this BAdI and other preconditions etc

Hope it helps

BR,

Aram.
