Use NoSQL Database as DataSource

Hi,

i wrote an question in BI Platform but they can´t help me and recommended me to ask here...

is it possible to use Business Objects with NoSQL-DBs such as Hadoop, Cassandra, MongoDB...? Can BusinessObjects support these kind of DBs?

What are the possibilities here?

The Hadoop Hive connectivity is available since 4.0 Feature Pack 3 as described in the document

Hi,

In Business Objects if any DB is not listed in the designer connections and you want to use that please try to connect it using "Generic Database" connection.

If your requirement is very critical please put request at idea place @ https://cw.sdn.sap.com/cw/community/ideas

Not really. We can however connect to Hadoop Hive.
