Passing data to external website with SSO

Hello Experts,

Am sure you have already come access a situation like this before. Please share your thoughts and help.

1) I need to pass some set of data from ECC to an external vendor website. How do I do this?

2) Is it possible to achieve SSO between our internal and external website. How is that done?

A little background about our application is :

Our Java webdynpro application is deployed on our internal server. This is accessed from the Portal via a Java webdynpro iview.

Now, we need to connect to the external vendor website from a link or button or something from our already existing Java webdynpro.
