Not getting object link Description in DMS?

Hi,

My client wants a new object link in dms.

We created a new screen and we assign it to document type?

But we are not getting the description of the new object link?

Eg: suppose If i create a new object link for task list when i gave the task list number in the field immediately i have to get the description of the task list which is

getting for the standard object links.

Can any one know how to rectify this one>

Hi,

In your custom screeen, the logic to fetch the description should be coded. In PBO the following logic should be there. If some value(task list number) is available in object link, then the value should be validated and its text should be filled in screen.
