Hello dear eCATT players,
I'm trying to automate the following test case:
- add a line to an existing outbound delivery with VL02N transaction.
I use SAPGUI recording. I do not do any scrolling at all , i use add item icon.
and all the SAP sessions (recorded or not recorded, even non eCATT related mode) are randomly shutdown .
By randomly i mean :
- sometimes i'm able to enter Material reference only
- sometimes i'm able to enter Material, QTY,PCE only
- sometimes i'm able to enter the whole line,
press save and it crashes during the saving.
Do you guys have any input on such issue?
I cannot provide log since it's a complete shutdown without dump.
I'm using :
Wingui 6400 Rev 2 Patch Level 0 minor version 157 as client
on a SAP Basis 6400 level 00017 as server.
Thanks all for the quick answers, it solved the case.
Sorry for delay in points management, i had some issue with my browser support..

Hello,
In fact both inputs were good:
I first upgraded to latest sapgui version, it solved the recording issue but the replay was randomly crashing also.
I then rerecorded without tab, enter and so on, and now it works pretty good!
Thanks to both of you !!
I've got an issue to give the points. When i log, this thread is no more listed in my control
panel (it is not listed as question). And when i edit it, i do not have the buttons to give point.
I don't know where to adress the issue

Hi,
These what we have observed.
Using Tab keys,Space bar sometimes close the entire SAP session while recording.Eventhough, not sure why it happens, but avoiding using Tab keys may solve this issue.
Also, while pressing enter key, instead of using from keyboard, use the enter key (green tick mark icon at the top of each transaction).
Hope this will solve the issue.
Regards,
Vishwa.

Hi Woody,
Even I have also encountered the same problem many a times, but it was happening in situations, where in the logon client(where in eCATTs are created) is with a far lower release/patch than the remote client(the target system).
I had 6.2 in my eCATT system and ECC-500 in the target system, then I was facing this issues.. Updated the Latest patches in the eCATT system and the shutdowns are no more happening.
This might be basically due to the version/patch/system - mismatch.
Hope this info helps.,
Best regards,
Harsha
