Dear All,
We have SAP SOLMAN 7.1 SPS-5.
I want to configure SAP ERP 6.0 EHP5 AS ABAP in managed system configuration.
Issue: System is in LMDB but not replicated in screen of managed system configuration wizard.
Steps followed:
1. System Preparation ==> completed.
2. Basic Configuration ==> completed.
3. Thr. RZ70 added SAP ERP 6.0 EHP5 AS ABAP to Local SLD of Solman.(it is data supplier in system prep.) ==> completed.
4. System Check in SLD. ===> completed.
5. System added in LMDB by synchronization job automatically by LMDB it self.
6. System is visible in LMDB under Technical Systems and Hosts Tab. (Not in Product Systems)
7. In SMSY, it not present.
CR Content and CIM_SAP are upgraded to latest.
A/C to SAP SOLMAN 7.1 SP5 Basic configuration Guide, "All the systems known in LMDB are visible in the Managed Systems Configuration."
Plz. help me to solve this issue..
Thanks & Regards,
Ishan
Hi Ishan,
Did you already create the Product System on LMDB?
If not, creat it manually with the same managed system SID and then assign the Technical System.

hi,
You need to create the product system manually.
LMDB - Product System - Enter SID of your managed system - Create - Technical System - Add - choose Proposal or Free Product selection - selct the product type installed for managed system.
Also you need to select it "Relevant for Diagnostics Agent"
Only after this your managed system will be ready for setup.
Hope this helps.

Hello Sangai,
As per my experiance all system in Managed system is poping from SLD.
I want you to check that what SLD you are connecting your LMDB.
There is one more option when you sync LMDB and SLD. Make sure LMDB rank is higher then SLD.
Once systems are showing correctly in SLD you will be fine.
Let me onow if its still not worl.
Thanks
Yogesh

I figured it out:

Run the landscape verification tool and check whether the managed system has any warning/error/missing something.

Hi Ishaan
If your system are visible in SMSY then they should be visiblein workcenter as well.
Please try this: Lauch workcenter navigate to Solution Manager Administration-- Select product systems tab.
You should be able to see the product systems listed there. From there you can run landscape verification check.
Also check in LMDB screen if Outside discovery is checked.
If outside discovery is not checked then there might be some other problem.
Please let us know if this works.

Ishan - which version of NW is that new system running? We've had many issues with pre-nw7.3 not showing up in SMSY, had to enter manually (although usually at least the database entry would show up in SMSY). Wonder if you're running into same issue here..
It is unclear from SAP documentation where Managed System setup gets its information from - LMDB or SMSY? If it is SMSY, then you may need to get it in there before anything else can be updated.

Hi Ishan,
By default technical system names only come to LMDB for all SAP systems. we have to assign the product for the system during the managed system configuration.Start the managed system configuration, in the first step you have to click on the Display product system and search for SID of managed system if not available click on create and select the managed system component in the search button select the system then product system is assigned for system.
