Error during Qty Posting in Scrap through QA11

Hi Experts,

We are facing one problem during  Usage decision(QA11). system is not allowing putting qty in scrap and saying that CO Account Assignments have different profit centers (Message no: BK 134), We have tried to change the Profit center which is assigned in Material master, but system is not allowing due to stock are exist. We have consulted FI-CO people , they are also saying that If we change the Profit center that will have some other bad impact in balance sheet and will be having some duplicated stocks.

Please guide us that what kind of setting is required to overcome this problem so as to post the qty in scrap.

Go to QCC0 --->Basic seetings--->plant level settings-->select plant--->go to "Insp lot completion" -->Cost center: Scrap  - maitain cost center here.

Make sure that this cost center associated with the proper G/L account which will support 553 mvt .Consult with FICO for this cost center.

Correct, for Scrapping any of the material via QA11, u need to assign the cost center against the Mvt type 553, also u need to understand that "Scrapping means to valuate the cost of the waste or rejected material at organizational level". Go as per Mr. Sujit and ask your CO consultant for the same.
