Hello Everybody,
Is it possible to maintain "gross weight" (Data Type :- QUAN) field in the material master with 5 decimal places.
CUNI settings does not effect the data type QUAN, as far as my testings.
If I enter 1.12345 (for example) in the "gross weight" field system pops up the below error
Message no. 00088
It only accepts 3 decimal places.
My req is to allow the system to maintain the Gross Weight and Net weight fields in the material master with 5 decimal places.
I have reffered few notes like :- 362932, 95869 but need to know more.
Awaiting your valuable informations.

Hi Ramesh,
Thanks for your inputs !
1) The wiki link which you had sent gives the single decimal and three decimal values explanation, How do we convert it to 5 Decimal.
2) The thread which you have sent had the problem with UOM as %age. Mine is with "KG" (Data Type:- QUAN). Thus for this data type the CUNI settings are not at all reflecting. That is where the problem is. Also in this thread the decimal places were only 2, my requirement is for 5 decimal places.
Helpful inputs, though need to find something more, because if there is a provision for decimals in customizing, then it should reflect.!
